HUTCHINSON, Kan. - The Kansas Department of Transportation will host a public open house for the U.S. 400 Bridge Replacement project on Wednesday, April 30, from 4 to 6 p.m., at the Mullinville City Hall Cafeteria, located at 110 S. Main in Mullinville.
The public open house will be a come-and-go event and will feature proposed plans for review. The project is in the preliminary design stage and needs public feedback at this meeting to determine the best path forward.

Landowners near the project are to receive a separate mailing for a meeting earlier that day to address their concerns.
This project is redesigning the U.S. 400 and U.S. 54 junction east of Mullinville. The project would replace two bridges on U.S. 400 (over U.S. 54 and the Union Pacific Railroad).
If you are unable to attend, meeting information and an opportunity for comments will be available online at https://www.ksdot.gov/projects/south-central-kansas-projects/u-s-400-bridge-replacements-in-kiowa-county following the meeting through May 28.
If you need special assistance at the meeting, please contact KDOT Division of Communications at 785-296-3585 (Voice) / 7-1-1 (Hearing Impaired). Requests should be made at least three days prior to the meeting to provide adequate time for KDOT to schedule accommodation services.
