
Evelyn Frances Kling, 90, of Hutchinson, died September 6, 2020, at Waldron Place Senior Living. She was born October 22, 1929, in Inman, to Julius and Margaret (Friesen) Unruh.
Evelyn worked at the former Wells Department Store, in the dietary department at Hutchinson Hospital, and as a homemaker.
On July 31, 1949, she married Delmas H. Kling in Wetmore. They shared nearly 60 years of marriage before he passed on April 3, 2009.
Evelyn is survived by daughters, Jane Angell, Wichita, Stephanie (Craig) Kirmer, Utah, Rose Ann (Jim) Rostine, Prescott, Arizona; son, Mike (Moon) Kling, San Francisco, California; daughter-in-law, Su Tha, Hawaii; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Elvin Unruh, Kansas City, Eldon Unruh, Arkansas; and sisters, Ella Mae Redford, Olathe, Elda Regier, Arizona, Emma Dunbar, Hutchinson, and Erna Roberts, Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Delmas Kling; son, Mark Kling; son-in-law, Ken Angell; grandchildren, Sarah and Jonathan; and sisters, Erma, Edith, and Elaine.
Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 12,2020, at Fairlawn Burial Park with Chaplain Cindy Dubovich officiating. Friends may call from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 11, 2020 at Elliott Mortuary.
