HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson firefighters were called out to help in the aftermath of the Andover tornado.
According to the department, four members were deployed along with the rescue trailer. Another crew went in relief on Saturday. The Hutchinson personnel were part of the region's urban search and rescue team.
The crew of 35 people from across the region completed both primary and secondary searches of the tornado-affected area. The crew was allowed back home on Saturday afternoon.
