HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Students who are new to Hutchinson Public Schools or returning students whose parents prefer an in-person experience will be able to enroll at district schools beginning next week.
The formal times for enrollment for pre-kindergarten through eighth grade is 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5, at each building. For Hutchinson High School, walk-in enrollment will be from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Aug. 10 at HHS.
Only parents or guardians should attend walk-in enrollment. Parents/guardians also are being asked to wear a mask.For enrollment this year, families are asked to bring proof of address.
Online enrollment for families whose students attended USD 308 in 2019-20 continues as well.
The first day of school for pre-kindergarten through ninth grade students is Aug. 27. The first day for sophomores through seniors at HHS is Aug. 28.
