HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The group that is raising money to put up veterans banners in Hutchinson is having a public event Saturday for those who want to pay and sign up in person.
The event is at Splinters-N-Rust at 125 N Main from 10 a.m. to noon. You can get signed up for a Veterans Honor Banner & meet the members of the Vieyra Honors Foundation Board.
Each banner is $200. They just need some basic information on your veteran and a photo. The deadline to buy a banner is March 11. The banners will be hung between Memorial Day and the 4th of July this year.
