⛳ Central Christian School's Kooiman and Reed share individual title at home invite

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson Central Christian's Nathan Reed and Ryland Kooiman each shot a 76 to share individual medalist honors Monday at the Central Christian School Invitational at Carey Park Golf Course.

The duo helped lead the Cougars to a fourth-place team finish with a 313. Cael Kooiman added a 79 to place fourth individually, and Tyler Reed rounded out the Central Christian scoring with an 82 for 10th place. Brody Froese also cracked the top 15 with an 88.

Trinity Catholic placed fifth in the team standings with a 321, highlighted by a trio of players — Ian Shaw, Seamus Hogan and Miles Blaylock — who all shot 80 to tie for fifth individually. Lincoln Barnes and Tyler Casebolt followed closely behind with rounds of 81.

Nickerson finished 10th with a 436, led by Addrick Nelson’s 96. Sedgwick followed in 12th at 437, with Keighan Earles carding a 100 to pace the Cardinals. Inman placed 14th with a 477, with Creighton Fries posting the team’s low round at 98.

Lost Springs-Centre claimed the team title with an 85, led by Easton Glessner’s 85. Whitewater-Remington placed second at 121, while Berean Academy finished third with a 270.
