WYANDOTTE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities investigating a shooting death have identified the victim as 58-year-old Kevin Rogers.

Just after 4p.m. Friday police responded to a home in the 800 Block of Barnett in Kansas City, Kansas and found Rogers dead from a single gunshot wound, according to police spokesperson Nancy Chartrand.

The suspect later identified as Curtis Lee Stacker, 45, Kansas City, Kansas, fled the scene on foot.&nbsp; Officers took him into custody a short time later.

Stricker is being held on a $400,000 bond on requested charges of first-degree murder, attempted aggravated robbery, criminal in possession of a weapon by a felon and a probation violation.
