HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Reno County Food Bank has updated the procedure for how they take walk-in appointments in the mornings.

They now have a spot by the door at the Salvation Army at 700 North Walnut where you grab a number. There are only 15 numbers available and once they are gone then they are done taking walk in appointments for that day. They will call you by your number once they are ready to start making appointments that morning.

With the new procedure, people know exactly where they are in line and don’t lose track of the order they came inside and they aren’t waiting in line just to be told there are no spots available.
