HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Nickerson is back to having Klear Nearly for 2021. The events are this weekend.
"It's usually a three day thing, but, since everything that's happened, we're down to two days," said Candace Ahrens-Galindo with the Nickerson Chamber. "We're trying to make kind of a comeback for the city so that we can have some family events."
It's a tradition that the town wanted to see continue.
"People come back for this who haven't been in town for a long time," Ahrens-Galindo said. "People talk about times past that they've seen. It's just really neat to see everyone come together again. It's nice."
Buttons are available for $5 at Berridge's IGA, Nickerson Public Library and the Nickerson People's Bank and Trust location.
