HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The organizers of the annual A Taste of Hutchinson – The Men Cook fundraiser for Salthawk Community Support are needing 25 men or teams who are willing to don aprons and chef hats to prepare and serve samples of their favorite culinary treat. Whether a main entrée or appetizer, they would love to give it a taste.
Funds raised at this event, scheduled for Saturday, January 21, 2023 at the Hutchinson Art Center, assure the financial future of the Salthawk Community Support program at Hutchinson High School, Hutchinson Middle School 8 and Mid-Town Center at Avenue ‘A’ Academy.
Salthawk Community Support encourages students to be engaged in school by providing supportive counseling, mentors, programs that encourage a positive atmosphere, meeting basic needs and more.
