LYONS — Seth Cordell, Libertarian candidate for Kansas Governor, will visit Brew 56 in Lyons from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday to kick off his campaign. The event will include a beer tasting from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. and ranked-choice voting demonstration.
Free market food, criminal justice reform, and civil liberties are primary issues for Cordell. He also opposes government mandates surrounding COVID protocol. The candidate will take questions after his speech Friday.
Attendees may participate in the beer tasting with a $25 donation to the campaign. Five different brews with corresponding colors will illustrate ranked-choice voting.
The event is free and open to the public.
