Conard Nichols, 61, of Moundridge, Kansas, passed away Friday, Jan. 8, 2021, at Ascension via Christi St Francis Hospital in Wichita. He was born July 28, 1959, in Moundridge, the son of Menno C. and Inez (Koehn) Nichols.
Conard was a laborer and held numerous jobs including working for the Co-op in Walton, KS. He also enjoyed delivering cars for Midway Motors of McPherson, KS.
He was a member of Meridian Church of God in Christ, Mennonite of rural Hesston.
Conard was united in marriage to Naomi Blosser on April 5, 1987 in Hesston. She survives of the home.
He is also survived by his two children, Nathan and Violet Nichols, both of the home; brothers, Merlin (Edith) Nichols, Grifton, North Carolina, and Danver (Cindy) Nichols, Arcadia, Florida; sister, Eva Jewell (LaVern) Unruh, Hartwell, Georgia; and a sister-in-law, Betty Helms Nichols Wiebe, Brooksville, Mississippi.
Conard was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Reiferd Nichols;
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, Jan. 11, 2021 at Meridian Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, rural Hesston. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 10, at Moundridge Funeral Home, with family greeting friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m., at Meridian Church of God in Christ, Mennonite.
