John M. Dyck, 94, died Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Moundridge Manor in Moundridge, KS. He was born July 5, 1926 at rural Hesston, KS, the son of Jacob and Fannie (Yost) Dyck.
He was united in marriage to Alice Peters on September 18, 1949 at Hesston, KS.
He was a member of the Meridian Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, Hesston, KS.
John was a retired farmer and cattle feeder.
Survivors include his children, Ethelyn (Verle) Nightingale of Fredonia, KS, Dwight (Martha) Dyck of Moundridge, KS, Nelson (Marilyn) Dyck of Leesburg, OH, and Charles (Laura) Dyck of Moundridge, KS; 13 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Margaret Ensz of Inman, KS.
John was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; two great-grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m., Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Moundridge Funeral Home, with family greeting friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Meridian Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, rural Hesston. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Sunday, September 6, 2020, at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
