At approximately 7:30 PM on 03/20/25 Reno County Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to an injury accident just west of the Turon city limits on Sun City Rd.
Reno County EMS and Reno County Fire District 7 were also dispatched to the accident. Upon arrival of the first responders, they found the accident involved a single vehicle.
A 2000 Dodge Dakota pick-up collided with a bridge railing and continued past the bridge.
The truck was occupied by 3 people, 2 of which had minor to no injuries. The 3rd occupant, a juvenile, was found to be deceased at the scene.
The names of those involved are being withheld at this time. This accident is still under investigation.
