HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Salt City Splash will be open one final weekend for public swimming before it closes for the 2020 summer season. The Splash will be open both days from 12:30-6:30 p.m.
On Monday, the Splash will host its annual Dog’s Day from 4-8 p.m. Dogs are $5 each; humans are free; and a portion of the admissions will go to the Splash’s event partners, Cause for Paws.
Patrons entering the facility are asked to wear masks during Dog’s Day when social distancing is not possible. Those individuals under 16 years old are not allowed in the water at any time and patrons are advised to not get in the water above their waist.
All dogs must be updated on their vaccinations and of course, love people and other dogs.
