Today's "Throwback Thursday Collection" takes us to the southwest corner of East 4th and North Walnut.
Even though the address of this building has changed at times, it seems to have been constructed around 1929 as the Hutchinson Fish and Oyster Market.
In 1930, the building became a series of Feed & Seed Companies, starting with McArthur-King, Ogren-Roach, Roach, Bornholdt and Elliott. The first photo shows the building in the 1941 flood when it was part of the Reno Creamery operation.

The second photo shows the location when it became the Bornholdt Feed & Seed store in 1946.

In the late 1950s, it was the Earl Brown Wholesale Tobacco Co.
In the late 1960s, the Woleslagel family acquired the building as Associated Insurers Inc. with Charlies Chow next door at 23 E. 4th Ave.
Woleslagel has been a continuous family insurance and investments business ever since. The third photo shows the Woleslagel business still there in 2018.

They have since moved to 1303 N. Main.
The fourth photo shows the Wornkey's business in the #23 slot about 2020.

The fifth photo shows the corner today with the properties being owned by Sandra Sue Reger and the backside address of 325 N. Walnut, still being occupied by Gary's Office Machines.
