<p><strong>LAWRENCE, Kan. &ndash;</strong>&nbsp;Kansas football started fall training camp at Murfin Family Practice Fields on Thursday morning. Presented by Country Financial, fall camp will be a one month build up to the grand opening of the new David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium vs. Fresno State on Aug. 23.<br /><br />"Very pleased, great attitude," head coach&nbsp;<dfn><a href="https://kuathletics.com/sports/football/roster/coaches/lance-leipold/879" rel="smarttag" rev="879">Lance Leipold</a></dfn>&nbsp;said of the first day of practice. "They've been anxious to get out there and play for real. I love the attitude and the hustle so far, but we've thrown a lot at them. It's a good first day, a good first step, got a lot to work on yet, but I like where it's trending."</p>
