HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Candidate for House District 102 Tyson Thrall lost the primary this month, but his commitment to principles continues. As he wrote on his campaign page this week,

"The campaign is over and we didn’t get the result we were hoping for but as John Quincy Adams said, 'Duty is ours, results are God’s.' I believe my next step is to come alongside every citizen I can and study our founding documents as well as our founding fathers," Thrall said.  "Samuel Adams said 'It is in the interest of tyrants to reduce the people to ignorance and vice. For they cannot live in any country where virtue and knowledge prevail.' What made the USA the envy of the world all those years ago? Let’s find out together and restore this great nation to what it once was! Remember that James Madison said 'A well-instructed people alone can be permanently a free people.' Stay free with me my friends!"

Thrall wants citizens to learn together at Scuttlebutts Coffee starting this Saturday, Aug. 17 at 10:00 a.m.  Register for the class at https://www.patriotacademy.com/coach/register/8820.
