WICHITA, Kan. — The Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference hosted its annual football media day on Friday afternoon at Riverfront Stadium in Wichita. The HutchCC Blue Dragons were picked to win the conference in the preseason coaches poll for the fifth consecutive season.
The Blue Dragons enter the 2023 season after a runner-up finish in 2022, losing to Iowa Western in the national championship game.
HutchCC is led by fourth year head coach Drew Dallas, who has an overall record of 28-3 in his first three seasons.
The Blue Dragons return no offensive starters from the 2022 season. The defense on the other hand has only one starter back from last fall. HutchCC had 34 players move onto the Division I level.
