HUTCHINSON, Kan. — According to a social media post Wednesday, the new trailhead for the Bad Bobby trail off of Plum Street is starting to improve.
With input from the family, sculptor Amos Robinson is creating a kinetic sculpture of Bad Bobby Helfrich doing what he loved the most. It will be mounted on a tall pole at the 39th and Plum trailhead. The wheels will spin with the wind.
The trail is still open, but the lot is closed until the work is finished.
