HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson Regional Healthcare System has named Jan Paul its new chief operating officer, effective Aug. 31.
Paul brings more than 20 years of health care leadership experience, including work in acute and outpatient care, clinical and ancillary operations, service line development, rehabilitation, digital health and support services. In her new role, she will provide operational leadership across the health system and work with executives, physicians and staff on organizational performance and strategic priorities.
“Jan’s extensive operational experience, collaborative leadership and forward-thinking perspective that will be incredibly valuable as Hutchinson Regional continues to grow and evolve,” Hutchinson Regional President and CEO Benjamin Anderson said. “She understands that strong healthcare organizations are built through strong teams, trusted physician partnerships and a shared commitment to the communities we serve.”
Paul most recently served as executive director of operations for AdventHealth Kansas City, where she oversaw a range of clinical, administrative, technical and support functions. She has also held leadership roles with AdventHealth, Menorah Medical Center and Duke Medicine, with experience in strategic planning, service line development, process improvement, physician partnerships, capital projects and leadership development.
Throughout her career, Paul has focused on improving operations, strengthening financial performance, improving quality and patient experience, and developing sustainable processes.

Paul said she looks forward to working with physicians, leaders and staff and becoming involved in the Hutchinson community.
As COO, Paul will help lead operational strategy as Hutchinson Regional works to expand access to care and strengthen coordination across services throughout central and south-central Kansas.
Paul holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science degree.
