
RENO COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just after 9 a.m. Saturday in Reno County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2023 Toyota Tacoma driven by Eddie E. Pinkley, 81, Kingman, failed to yield right of way at a posted stop sign and collided with a southbound 2022 GMC Sierra driven by Nicholas Robert Crockett, 46, South Hutchinson, at the intersection of Kansas 14 and U.S. 50 East Junction.
EMS transported Pinkley and a passenger in the Toyota, Jerry A. Pinkley, 80, Kingman, to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. Crockett was not injured. All three were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
