City of Haven seeks public's assistance following weekend incident

HAVEN, Kan. — The City of Haven extends its sincere gratitude to the electrical crew from the City of Marion for their swift and professional response following damage to a utility pole over the weekend.

Crews worked efficiently to repair the pole and electrical lines without disrupting city services, despite the challenges of the incident.

The damage occurred around 8:30 a.m. Sunday, April 27, when an unknown driver of a white extended-cab Chevrolet pickup struck a utility pole on Industrial Drive and left the scene. The vehicle sustained damage to its front right side.
