Leroy Clyde Goble, 58, of South Hutchinson, died Jan. 10, 2021, at his home. He was born Dec. 3, 1962, in Hutchinson, to William and Santos (Rodriguez) Goble.

Leroy graduated from Nickerson High School in 1981. He owned and operated Goble Carpet Cleaning for nearly 20 years. Leroy loved coaching his children’s youth sports while they were young and watching when they were older. He also loved KU basketball, the Dallas Cowboys, collecting baseball cards, shopping at the Farmer’s Market, and fishing. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

On January 17, 1987, Leroy married Nancy Drake, in South Hutchinson. They raised three amazing children and shared 33 ½ years together until recently divorced.

Surviving are children, Aaron ‘Brady’ Goble, Hutchinson, Brittany McMahon (Kyle), Wichita, Casey Goble (Taylor), Kingman; former wife, Nancy, Hutchinson; sister, Irene Vieyra (David), Salina; beloved dog, Bo; sisters-in-law, Linda Drake, Hutchinson, Julie Strickler (Tom), Iola; nieces and nephews, Angelica Bretton, Dominique Hoover, Javier Vieyra, Kimberly Knight, Jordan Strickler and Scott Strickler.

He was preceded in death by his parents and mother-in-law, Nellye Drake.

A Celebration of Leroy’s life will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021, at Elliott Chapel. The family will greet friends 1 hour prior to the service. Friends may sign the memorial book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday thru Friday at Elliott Mortuary.

The service will be live-streamed and can be viewed by clicking the link at the end of his obituary on Elliott Mortuary’s website beginning at 1:30 p.m.
