RENO COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 4:30pm. Monday in Reno County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2021 Volvo semi driven by Carlos Lara-Chacon, 56, Liberal, was westbound on U.S. 50 just east of Sterling Road. The vehicle traveled off the the roadway to the right and into a ditch when the right front tire failed.
EMS transported Lara-Chacon to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was properly restraimned, accoring to the KHP.
