HUTCHINSON, Kan. — More than two dozen development staff and fundraising professionals gathered at Hutchinson Community College June 15-16 for a two-day conference to share ideas, hear from other professionals and network.
Representatives from 17 community and technical colleges in Kansas met at the Richard and Jack Parker Student Union on the Hutchinson Community College campus.
“This was an opportunity for us to build relationships with our colleagues and know we all face the same challenges,” stated Cindy Keast, Director of the HutchCC Endowment Association. “Bringing all this outstanding talent to one spot was invaluable and a fantastic learning experience.”
Attendees from multiple community and technical colleges presented on topics covering alumni relationships and an independent consultant also presented to the group.
The group will continue to hold the conference annually, with the location rotating.
