HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Reno County dashboard now includes weekly updates on vaccination totals. The first update as of March 12 notes that 10,779 doses of vaccine have been given in Reno County, which is 17.29% of the county's population.
As of Tuesday, the case count in the county is down to 63.
Out of 7,731 total cases since the beginning of the pandemic, there have been 7,531 recoveries. There are 8 clusters still being monitored. Only the workplace cluster type has any remaining cases and there are just three there.
Two Reno County residents are in the hospital with COVID-19. There have been 366 hospitalizations total and 103 ICU admissions. 137 Reno County residents deaths are attributed to the pandemic.
Drive-thru testing is currently available at the Kansas Cosmosphere at 1100 N Plum in Hutchinson.
