Anniversary edition of Family Adventure Camp July 10

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Dillon Nature Center is hosting a special Family Adventure Camp on Saturday, July 10 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to celebrate 50 years of the camp.

This come-and-go anniversary event features canoeing, fishing, archery, arts and crafts, and nature hikes. During the lunch hour families will hear tales from summers past, including the Charlie the Catfish stories. A special 50th anniversary shirt and lunch is included in the fee.

Registration is $50 per family for up to four members. Additional family members are $10 each. Register online at hutchrec.com or in person at Dillon Nature Center, 3002 E. 30th Ave. prior to event day.

Adventure Camp has five sessions each summer for youth ages 5 through 12 years old. In 2020, Dillon Nature Center expanded to offer a Preschool Adventure Camp for 3 to 5 year olds.

Dillon Nature Center is operated by Hutch Rec and is located at 3002 E. 30th Ave.
