Salthawk Boys drop game to Kapaun Mt Carmel Saturday

WICHITA, Kan.—The Salthawk Boys Basketball team, who were coming off a hard loss to Bishop Carroll last Tuesday might have thought that they had gotten caught up like Bill Murray in the movie "Ground Hog Day" because the game vs the Crusaders was identical to the game vs the Golden Eagles.  Hutchinson dropped the turnover plagued match up 70-50.

In a game where the Salthawks top scorer Myles Thompson was held to on 11 points in the first half, Kapaun shut out Thompson in the second half.

Hutchinson's floor game struggled to get the ball into the front court and the Crusaders took advantage of those turnovers to pound the ball inside to take the win.

Hutchinson (2-6) returns home to host Wichita Trinity Academy on Tuesday, January 26th with Freshman, Junior Varsity and Varsity teams all in action.
