RENO COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 3p.m. Monday in Reno County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2016 Ram 1500 driven by Connie Marie Boese, 68, Hillsboro, was westbound on U.S. 50 just east of the Arkansas River.
The pickup rear-ended the single axes flat-bed trailer pulled by a 2018 Toyota Rav4 and driven by George A. Sanders, 78, Stafford. The impact caused the trailer to detach and come to rest in the center median.
EMS transported Sanders to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. Boese was not transported. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
