HARVEY COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after noon Wednesday in Harvey County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Volvo semi driven by Aron Floyd&nbsp;Coltrane, 48, LaHarpe, Kansas was eastbound on U.S. 50 just east of South Ridge Road. The semi struck a 2021 Mazda CX5 driven by Sandra Louise Pope, 77, Newton, who attempted to make a U-turn across the highway.

EMS transported Pope to Wesley Medical Center.&nbsp;Coltrane was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
