PRATT COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 9a.m. Sunday in Pratt County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2013 Ford Fusion driven by Nevaeh M Kimble, 20, Turon, was southbound on Kansas 61 three miles north of U.S. 54. The car struck the driver's side of trailer pulled by a 2025 Kenworth semi attempting to turn onto Kansas 61 from SE 30th Street in the dense fog. The car came to rest underneath the semi's trailer.
EMS transported Kimble to Wesley Medical Center. The semi driver, David W. Nye, 67, Bushton, was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
