HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Mother Nature took the win Tuesday night as severe storms sweeping through central Kansas forced the postponement of the scheduled game between the Hutchinson Monarchs and Kingman Islanders. A makeup date has not yet been announced.
The Monarchs (10-2) will look to bounce back tonight as they host the Junction City Brigade in a non-league matchup at Hobart-Detter Field in Carey Park. First pitch is set for 7 p.m.
Hutchinson is slated for 19 home games this season, all of which will be streamed live on HutchPost.com and the MonarchsLive.tv channel. Glen Grunwald of Eagle Media will handle the play-by-play, with Matt Peterson on the video stream.
