HUTCHINSON, Kan. — On July 3rd, 2024, a burglary occurred at Whispers Video, 314 North Plum Street. Three additional burglaries at Whispers Video were committed since then. The last burglary occurred on August 12th, 2024. Hutchinson Police Department Patrol Officers and Detectives were able to identify and arrest a suspect in connection to all four burglaries.
Kaylin D. Darnell, WM/32 of Hutchinson, was taken into custody without incident on August 14th, 2024. Mr. Darnell was charged with burglary (four counts), theft (four counts) and criminal damage to property (three counts).
