The Kansas Basketball Coaches Association released its preseason rankings for high school girls and boys basketball on Monday. Several area teams are ranked in their respective classifications.
Halstead girls (3A), Moundridge girls (2A), Hesston boys (3A) and Sterling boys (2A) are the area teams ranked No. 1 in their classes heading into this first week of competition.
