Three arrested after Hutchinson police drug distribution investigation

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Three Hutchinson residents were arrested Monday after police served a search warrant tied to suspected drug distribution.

The Hutchinson Police Department said members of its Special Operations Unit, Repeat Offender Unit and Investigations Division served the warrant May 25 at 118 E. Campbell St.

Police said officers seized about 12 grams of methamphetamine, 160 grams of marijuana, 41 grams of THC wax, 507 grams of GHB, 22 grams of anabolic steroids, several controlled substances, five firearms, U.S. currency and a vehicle.

Curtis R. Linscheid, 46, of Hutchinson, was arrested on suspicion of distribution of methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school, distribution of anabolic steroids within 1,000 feet of a school, distribution of alprazolam within 1,000 feet of a school, distribution of GHB within 1,000 feet of a school, distribution of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine, possession of lorazepam, possession of marijuana, possession of THC, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm by a person addicted to a controlled substance, criminal use of a weapon and acquired drug proceeds.

Jeremy L. Bruch, 52, of Hutchinson, was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and interference with law enforcement.

Emilia Linscheid, 53, of Hutchinson, was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police said additional inquiries about the case should be directed to the Reno County District Attorney’s Office.

All suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
