HARVEY COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
The Harvey County Sheriff’s Office will supervise a DUI check lane enforcement effort in Harvey County this weekend.
The check lane will begin Saturday evening and continue into Sunday morning.
The enforcement effort will be held in coordination with other Harvey County law enforcement agencies and the Kansas Highway Patrol.
The intent of the DUI check lane is to educate drivers about the dangers of intoxicated driving, ensure the safety of those traveling in Harvey County and to remove any driver from the road who is under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
The Sheriff’s Office most recently conducted a local check lane this past October.
