Thelma Marie Hubbell, passed away on October 7, 2021. She was born on her family farm in Colwich, Kansas. Parents Henry and Rosie (Doll) Nigg. She snuck out of her bedroom window on her 18th birthday to elope and marry the love of her life, her husband, Raymond Hubbell. She was a career military wife, moving all over the United States and Japan to support her husband’s career and raise her family. After Ray’s retirement from the military they settled in Kingman KS in 1961. She was an avid gardener and loved competition trap shooting. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Raymond Hubbell, and her son, Ronald Hubbell, brothers Bill and Dennis Nigg and sister Dorothy Heimerman. Thelma is survived by 3 children, Max Hubbell with wife Barbara, Rose Marie Henning, and Michael Hubbell and wife Susan; 1 sister, Lillian Cipriani; 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Parish rosary will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday at the St. Patrick Catholic Church, Kingman with the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 a.m. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday at the Livingston Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made with the St. Patrick Grade School in care of the funeral home.
