Beulah Ernestine Foster, 96, formerly of Abbyville, died November 19, 2020, at Hospice House, Hutchinson.  She was born November 25, 1923, in Hutchinson, to Wilbert and Esther Kathryn (Ehling) Dunn.

She was a 1942 graduate of Abbyville High School. Beulah was a farmer’s wife and member of Abbyville Community Church, Sewing Club, and Abbyville Seniors.  Her hobbies included quilting and playing cards. After 48 years of farming, Bill and Beulah moved to Wesley Towers, in 1995.

On April 6, 1947, she married William Bert “Bill” Foster in Abbyville. Bill, her husband of 60 years, died February 25, 2008. Surviving are her: daughters and their husbands, Cassie and Randy Grissom, of Belle Plain, Sally and Tom Young, of El Dorado, and Janet and Curtis Crandall of Little River; grandchildren, Tami and Ken Patrick, of Peck,  Stephanie Lindsay, of Egg Harbor Township, NJ, Jim and Elizabeth Young of Leon, Bill and Dacia Young of El Dorado, Matt and Rose Young of Henderson, NV,  Amy and Derrick Herzog of Geneseo, and Jessica and Derrick Ploutz, of Sterling; 23 great-grandchildren, Braden Teeter, Lauren Patrick, Logan Patrick, Sabrina and Alex Feistner, Keegan, Gavin, Reagan, and Griffin Lindsay, Markus, Madison, Makayla, Jordan, and Skylar Young, Annalise Young, Bo and Braeden Graham, Brooklyn Young, Chelsey Williams, Hannah, Ty, and C.J. Herzog, Nolan and Kevin Ploutz; and 2 great-great-grandchildren, Jonnie Graham and Vyolette Campos.

She was preceded in death by her parents, great-grandchildren, Brittany Graham and Drake Ploutz.

Private family service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at Elliott Chapel with Keith A. Dellenbach presiding.

Burial will be in Abbyville Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, Hutchinson.
