HUTCHINSON, Kan.-The 88th annual NBC Baseball World Series opens this week at Hobart Detter Field in Hutchinson's Carey Park. Pool play begins Thursday at noon with four games scheduled each day and running from July 28th to July 31st. Then the tournament will move to Wichita to be comped at Eck Stadium on the campus of Wichita State University.
The Hutchinson Monarch's will play on Thursday at 6pm vs Wichita's 316 Elite. Win or lose, their next game would be on Saturday with game time to be decided. The top 2 teams out of pool play will advance based off win-loss records.
Each game will be streamed and carried on Hutchpost.com and on the NBC Baseball YouTube channel.
