Roxanne S. Treece, 67, of McPherson, Kansas, passed away Sunday, October 24, 2021 at her home. She was born on January 22, 1954 in Loveland, Colorado, the daughter of Ralph and Barbara (Neitzel) Treece.

She attended Washington Elementary, Loveland Jr. High and Loveland High School.

Roxanne worked as a cook at Sirloin Stockade and the Cedars in McPherson.

She was a member at the First United Methodist Church in McPherson. Roxanne was a former president of the National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI). She was also a volunteer worker at the Cedars.

Roxanne enjoyed reading and going on drives with Karen. She loved nature and the mountains, and her cats, Dozer and Smokie.

She is survived by her brother, Bruce (Nadine) Treece of Loveland, CO; sisters, Jennifer (Bill) Wagaman of Loveland, CO, and Kaylene Treece of Loveland, CO; and adoptive sisters, Alicia Heim, Mindy Komarek, and Marcy Smith.

Cremation is planned. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the Canton Christian Church. A private burial will take place at Canton Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to NAMI in care of Olson’s Mortuary, PO Box 355, Canton, KS 67428.
