HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Police Department is hosting a site for the Drug Take Back Event on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
"We've been doing this now since 2010," said Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt. "We've collected and safely destroyed an enormous number of 100 tons in Kansas alone of unwanted drugs and unneeded medicines."
You can bring your unwanted prescription drugs to the Law Enforcement Center at 210 W 1st Hutchinson, KS.
The department is able to collect tablets, capsules, patches, and other solid forms of prescription drugs.
Liquids (including intravenous solutions), syringes and other sharps, and illicit drugs will not be accepted.
