
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson NAACP announced that the annual Freedom Fund Dinner scheduled for this weekend has been postponed because of an unexpected medical leave involving President Darrell Pope.
Kansas Highway Patrol Superintendent Herman Jones has graciously offered to keep the speaking engagement later in the month and the organization will announce the makeup date soon.
