HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Forecasted rain has forced the cancellation of Friday night’s 2026 Saltcity Shootout.
The races had been scheduled for Friday, May 22, but organizers announced the event has been canceled because of expected rain.
Refunds for all online ticket purchases will be processed as soon as possible.
Racing is scheduled to return next weekend with a doubleheader on May 29 and 30.
