HARVEY COUNTY—The intersection of Broadway and Main in Newton was on Wednesday afternoon closed after a semi truck crashed into the traffic signal, according to a social media report from Newton Police.
City crews were busy working on cleanup and setting up a four-way stop. They asked divers to please avoid the area if possible.
