
HUTCHINSON CC SPORTS INFORMATION
The 2025 Jayhawk Conference champion and national runner-up Hutchinson Community College football team earned seven spots on the 2025 NJCAA Division I All-America team, which was released on Saturday morning.
Receiver Derrick Salley Jr., defensive end Darius Wiley, defensive back M.J Graham Jr. and return specialist Kordell Gouldsby were all named to the All-America first team. Defensive tackle, K.J. Henson, defensive back Da’Mun Allen and punter Denzel More were named to the honorable mention list.
The 2025 Blue Dragons went 11-1 this season, tying a school record for victories. The Dragons captured their sixth-straight Jayhawk Conference title (5 regular season, 1 playoff), earned their fifth appearance in the NJCAA national playoffs and played in their fourth national championship game.
The Blue Dragons have now had 45 NJCAA All-American in head coach Drew Dallas’ six-year tenure, including 17 first-team selections. The four first-team selections in 2025 are the most since the 2020-21 national champion Blue Dragons had six first-team selections and is the second-most first-team selections in a since All-America team in Hutchinson football history.
This is the eighth-straight season the Blue Dragons have had at least one NJCAA first-team All-American and it’s the 18th-consecutive season the Blue Dragons have had at least one All-America selection.
DARIUS WILEY – 1ST-TEAM DEFENSIVE END
Wiley, a 6-foot-7, 250-pound defensive end from Elizabethtown, Kentucky, is the third-straight Blue Dragon defensive lineman to earn first-team All-America honors, joining Marshon Oxley (2024) and Daniel Brown (2023). Wiley was also the KJCCC Defensive Player of the Year.

Wiley has been a central figure in the Blue Dragons leading the nation in scoring defense (10.7 ppg allowed) and ranking third in total defense (229.8 ypg) in 2025.
This season, Wiley had 9.5 quarterback sacks and 21.5 total tackles for loss. Overall Wiley had 55 tackles, including eight in the national championship game.
Against No. 10 Iowa Central, in a 35-17 win over the Tritons, Wiley had a career day with 13 total tackles, 6.0 tackles for loss and 2.5 quarterback sacks. Wiley also racked up three more quarterback hurries and a blocked field goal on special teams.
Wiley registered at least one quarterback sack in seven games. He also registered a sack for a safety in a 44-3 win at Dodge City on October 11.
DERRICK SALLEY JR. – 1ST-TEAM RECEIVER
Salley is the first Blue Dragon receiver to earn first-team All-America honors since Malik Benson in 2022.

The 6-4, 2016-pound sophomore from Green Pond, South Carolina was also named the 2025 co-Offensive Player of the Year.
Salley started the season on an incredible tear with touchdown receptions in the first six games of the season. He became the first Blue Dragon receiver in program history to have three three-touchdown games, doing so against New Mexico Military, Iowa Central and Independence.
With his touchdown reception in the national championship game, Salley took over sole possession of the national lead for touchdown catches with 13.
For the season, Salley had team highs of 53 receptions and 850 yards. He recorded at least two catches or more in every game this season. Salley’s 53 receptions tie him for eighth on the Hutchinson single-season list and his 850 receiving yards rank 10th on the single-season list.
Salley’s 13 touchdown receptions are tied with All-American Roger Frazier (2005) for the Blue Dragon single-season record.
For his career, Salley has 72 receptions for 1,167 yards and 18 touchdowns. His 72 catches are ninth on the Blue Dragon career list. Salley is the 12th Blue Dragon receiver to reach 1,000 career yards and ranks eighth overall. His 18 touchdowns rank fifth in Blue Dragon career history.
M.J. GRAHAM JR. – 1ST-TEAM DEFENSIVE BACK
A 5-11, 189-pound two-year starting safety from Oklahoma City, Graham was Hutchinson’s leader in interceptions sixth six. He had two picks against both New Mexico Military and No. 10 Butler.

Graham had 40 total tackles, including 5.5 tackles for loss and one quarterback sack. Graham also had three passes broken up and one fumble recovery.
Graham closed his Blue Dragon career eight eighth total interceptions and a pick-six in his freshman season. His eight career interceptions ties four others for eighth on the Blue Dragon career list.
KORDELL GOULDSBY – 1ST-TEAM RETURN SPECIALIST
A 5-11, 171-pound return specialist from Tulsa, Oklahoma, Gouldsby again showed his return ability to lead the Dragons on special teams this season.

On kickoffs, Gouldsby averaged a league-best 28.5 yards per return on 15 attempts with one touchdown. He had an 84-yard kickoff return for touchdown against Dodge City on October 11.
On punts, the Dragon sophomore had two returns for touchdowns, both against Independence and averaged 13.1 yards on 20 returns.
For his career, Gouldsby had five total returns for touchdowns, including a 73-yard kickoff return for touchdown in the 2024 national championship game that helped him earn the game’s Most Valuable Player awards.
Gouldsby’s 30.2-yard-per-return average on kickoffs ranks fourth in program history. His 14.5 yard-per-punt-return average ranks seventh in Blue Dragon career history.
K.J. HENSON – HONORABLE MENTION DEFENSIVE LINE
A 6-4, 274-pound defensive tackle from Glen Burnie, Maryland, Henson had an exceptional year with 49 tackles, 10.0 tackles for loss, 5.5 quarterback sacks and eight quarterback hurries.

He added two passes broken up. Henson was huge against No. 2 Iowa Western on September 13 with a career-best nine tackles, two TFLs and 1.5 quarterback sacks in a 30-27 victory.
Henson also had a two-sack performance against Independence.
DA’MUN ALLEN – HONORABLE MENTION DEFENSIVE BACK
The 6-3, 190-pound sophomore quarterback from Sanford, Florida, was second on the Blue Dragons with four interceptions.

Allen had two interceptions in the KJCCC opener against Dodge City on October 11.
Allen had 32 tackles with two passes broken up. He had a season-high six tackles in a victory over No. 9 Iowa Central on September 20.
DENZEL MORE – HONORABLE MENTION PUNTER
A 6-1, 195-pound freshman from Baskerville, Australia, was second in the KJCCC in gross punting average at 41.3 yards per attempt on 52 punts this season.

More led the KJCCC with fewest touchbacks (6) and was second with punts inside the 20-yard line with 19. His long punt this season was 63 yards against Ellsworth and he had a 62-yarder against Highland. More had nine punts of 50 or more yards this season.
More’s 41.3 yard-per-punt average ranks fifth in Blue Dragon single-season history.
