Jody Ellen Feldhus, 60, of Hutchinson, died December 7, 2021, at Newton Medical Center. She was born September 7, 1961, in Pueblo, CO, to Everett L. and Betty Jean (Phelps) Roller.
Jody graduated from Park Hill Christian Academy in Pueblo and Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO. She worked as a dental assistant, private school teacher, and director of a girl’s home in Arkansas City before moving to Hutchinson in 1992. Jody was a member of Westside Baptist Church, where she worked as the Children’s Ministry Director until retiring in 2019. Jody enjoyed reading and doing crafts, and was a great friend and discipler of people.
On November 7, 1987, Jody married Brian F. Feldhus, in Arkansas City. They shared 34 years of marriage. He survives.
Also surviving are: children, Amanda Feldhus of Hutchinson and Daniel Feldhus of Wichita; siblings, Glen Roller and wife Dee of Greeley, CO, Meryl Denney and husband Jeff of Pueblo, CO, Dan Roller and wife Bev of Colorado Springs, CO, LuAnn Lyons and husband Greg of Manila, Philippines; and many extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be announced at a later date at Westside Baptist Church, 400 W. 12th Ave., Hutchinson, with Pastor Tim Adrian officiating. Friends may sign her memorial book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday thru Saturday at Elliott Mortuary.
