Pamela Arlene Muns, 69, passed from this life and into the arms of her Savior on Saturday, June 20, 2020, at Valley View Senior Life-Healthcare, Junction City, in the presence of her siblings. She was born March 22, 1951, in Hutchinson, to Melvin Leroy and Edith J. (Dunham) Mooney.
Pamela is survived by brother, Gerald (Charlotte) Mooney; sisters, Shirley (Brian) Hill, Nancy (John) Shirbroun, and Judy Collins; husband, Jim Muns; sons, Jason (Kate) Gorgas, Jimmy (Kristie) Muns, and Josh Muns; daughters, Jennifer Casner and Joni Bradshaw; stepchildren, Jason Robinson and Elizabeth Cantrell; 25 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She had a big and loving heart and there are numerous other children whom she claimed as her own.
Pamela was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jesse Gorgas; grandsons, Brenton and Brandon Brawner; and brother, Harold Mooney.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, June 25, 2020, at Elliott Mortuary, with Pastor Richard Haley officiating. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary. Family will greet friends from 10 a.m. until service time on Thursday at Elliott Mortuary.
