HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson Fire Department responded to 7005 Backacres for a structure fire at 3:49 pm.
Upon arrival units found a vacant mobile home fully involved with complete collapse. The fire had spread to the nearby vegetation, units initially worked the perimeter of the vegetation fire bringing it under control. Units remained on scene overhauling the structure and vegetation fire. Cause of the fire is under investigation at this time.
Hutchinson Fire Department was assisted by Buhler Fire, Burrton Fire, Hutchinson-Reno County Emergency Communications, Reno County Sheriff’s Department and Evergy.

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson Fire is currently on the scene of a mobile home fire. The fire also involves an area of land around the structure.
According to Reno County 911 the fire is located on Back Acres Road or about 2 miles east of Hutchinson, and was called in around 3:50 p.m.
No word on any injuries or the extent of the damage at this time.
