Constance ‘Connie’ Joan Cochran, 87, passed away at Pleasant Hills, Hutchinson. She was born May 9, 1933, in Hutchinson, to Jesse Casper and Mildred Alice (Tubbs) Ehrlich.

Connie graduated from Hutchinson High School. She was the Assistant Campus Store Manager at Hutchinson Community College (formerly Hutchinson Community Junior College), retiring in 1995, with over 22 years of service. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts, especially woodworking and painting. Connie was a longtime member of the Hutchinson Kennel Club, Inc., South Hutchinson, and First Baptist Church, Hutchinson.

On October 10, 1954, she married Dale Cochran, in Hutchinson. They shared over 51 years of marriage, prior to his death on June 23, 2006.

Connie is survived by her children, Jim (Lue) Cochran of Hutchinson, Kimberley (Jerry) Pierson of Cumming, GA, Bruce Cochran of Waterloo, IA, and Kathy (Jody) Carr of Juliette, GA; brother, Dr. Robert Ehrlich of Longview, WA; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Cremation has taken place. A private Celebration of Life gathering will be scheduled at a future date. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, 2021, through Saturday, Feb. 6, 2021, at Elliott Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church or Hutchinson Kennel Club, Inc., in care of Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
